How it works
- Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. It is what rings.
- Add the connector in your AI app, with this address:
https://mcp.lfg.gm
- Sign in on lfg.gm with your LFG Alarm account and tap Allow. No keys to copy.
- Ask. "Wake me at 7 on weekdays." "Make a Sunday run alarm and add my friends." Your AI agent makes the alarm in your account.
Pick your AI app
Each AI app adds connectors in a different place. Find yours below; its page has the exact steps.
| AI app | Where you add it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Claude | Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector | Tested end to end. Claude Code too |
| ChatGPT | Plugins > + > Add custom MCP server | Added on the web. Codex too |
| Grok | Connectors > New Connector > Custom | Added on grok.com |
| Gemini | Settings > Connected Apps > Add a custom app | US, personal Google accounts |
| Perplexity | Account settings > Connectors > + Custom connector | Not on every account yet |
| Mistral Vibe | Connectors > + Add Connector > Custom MCP Connector | Formerly Le Chat |
| OpenClaw | Settings > MCP, a terminal, or just ask it | Works from WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage |
| Hermes Agent | hermes mcp add |
Works from any chat app it is in |
| Cursor | mcp.json |
For developers |
| VS Code | MCP: Add Server | With GitHub Copilot |
| Manus | Custom MCP, with a personal key | Key from Settings |
| Claude Code and Copilot in CI | A header with a personal key | Phone alarm when a long job finishes |
| OpenAI API and Agents SDK | The MCP tool, with a personal key | For developers |
| ElevenLabs | MCP server, with a personal key | Voice agents |
| Retell | MCP, with a header | Voice agents; each caller can use their own key |
| Vapi | MCP through the API, with a header | Voice agents |
| Instinct | Send it the docs and the server address | Works by text or a call |
Any other AI app that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in works the same way: add https://mcp.lfg.gm and sign in.
An app that asks for a key instead of a sign-in? Make a personal key in LFG Alarm: Settings > Connected AI apps > Make a key. Copy it when it is shown (it is shown once), and give the app https://mcp.lfg.gm with the header Authorization: Bearer lfg_pat_.... A key acts as you, so keep it out of any agent other people use. Disconnect beside the key stops it at once.
Building an agent? LFG Alarm also has an agent skill: when to use it, the tools, and how to handle a request well.
What your AI agent can do
- Set a time alarm, one-off or repeating, with a name, a drawn wallpaper and who can join (just you, friends or public). A shared one can ring everyone at the same moment or each person at their own local time.
- Set a price alarm: a token's target price or a percent move. Your AI agent looks the token up first.
- Set a post alarm: an X account posting what you describe, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live or posting a video.
- Set an event alarm from a Luma or Partiful link, rung at the start or 30 minutes, an hour or two hours before.
- Set an anything alarm: a private link any system can ring, from a smart home to a shop sale alert, Zapier or IFTTT. Private or friends, never public.
- Add your LFG Alarm friends by username, a whole friend group by name, or anyone by email. It shows you who it would add, and nothing is sent until you say yes.
- List your alarms and when they ring next, and list your friends.
- Change an alarm's name, wallpaper, who can join or the people on it; turn it on or off; or delete it.
- See who asked to join one of your friends alarms, and let them in or not.
- Give you your own invite link to LFG Alarm, with a message ready to send.
- Add your own picture, video, song or voice: through a one-time upload link, from a public link, or handed over directly by an AI app that makes its own media.
It can pick a sound or a look from LFG Alarm's library by mood, or put one of your uploads on an alarm. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app. Full details: Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent.
Have your AI agent make it.
Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.
Use LFG Alarm to wake me at 7:00 every weekday, call it "Get up", and write GET UP on the wallpaper. Then tell me when it goes off next.
Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?
Why it works. Once LFG Alarm is connected, this sets a real alarm on your phone and tells you when it rings next, so you know it worked.
What you get back
Every time your AI agent makes or changes an alarm, it hands back what you need to share it:
- The alarm's link,
lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>. It opens the alarm on lfg.gm, and in the app for anyone who has it. - A share picture: the same card the app makes, with the alarm's look and a QR code to the link. Most chats show it straight away; where one does not, the picture's own link opens it to save and send.
- A message ready to send, so you can say "text this to the group" or "email the link and the picture to my running friends" and your agent does it with the email or messaging it already has.
Friends you added by username or group get a notification in the app as well. A private alarm comes back with its link only, since it is just for you.
Why an alarm from your AI agent
Your AI agent can message you, email you, sometimes even call you, but on its own it can't put a real alarm on your phone. With LFG Alarm it can, on your phone and on your friends', family's or community's phones, for a time or for almost anything that happens online. Messages and reminders, from your agent and every other app, mostly get muted or swiped away. An LFG Alarm rings out loud like an alarm clock, which is hard to miss. It can ring your friends too, at the same moment, and the wake board in the app shows who got up and when. See social life with AI agents.
