Connect LFG Alarm to Town

To connect LFG Alarm to Town, open Town's Settings > MCP, click Add Server, paste the address https://mcp.lfg.gm, and sign in with your LFG Alarm account when Town asks. Then tick LFG Alarm in a routine, and your Townie can put real alarms on your phone for the meetings, replies and deals that matter. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: alarms for times and moments, shared by link so every phone that joined rings together.

Also called: town.com mcp server · town ai routine alarm · alarm when a lead replies · crm deal alert on phone

Get it on Google PlayDownload on the App Store

Before you start

  • Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Town makes the alarms; the app is what rings them.
  • Have your LFG Alarm sign-in handy. You will sign in once, on lfg.gm, to let Town use your account.
  • Connect the tools you want Town to read first, such as your email, calendar or CRM, from Town's integrations.

Connect it

  1. In Town, open Settings, then MCP.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Fill in the three boxes: Name LFG Alarm, URL https://mcp.lfg.gm, and a Description such as Sets alarms that ring on my phone.
  4. When Town asks you to sign in, a window opens on lfg.gm: sign in with your LFG Alarm account and tap Allow.

Town runs the sign-in for you. LFG Alarm registers Town automatically, so there is nothing to allowlist and no key to copy. Menus move; if a label is different, look for MCP in Town's settings.

Turn it on in a routine

Town gives MCP tools to routines, the jobs your Townie runs for you on its own. Create or edit a routine, scroll to the MCP Servers section and tick LFG Alarm. Its tools join the routine's tool list, and each run shows what it did in the run history. Tick only the servers a routine needs; Town notes that each one adds context.

What founders and small teams use it for

Your inbox and calendar already ping you all day, and most of it gets muted. An alarm rings out loud, so save it for the few things you cannot miss.

  • A heads-up before the meetings that matter. Maya runs a two-person studio. Her morning routine reads her calendar, skips the internal stand-ups, and sets a one-off alarm 10 minutes before each investor or customer call.
  • Ring when a hot lead replies. Theo keeps his pipeline in a CRM. A routine checks his inbox every half hour, and when someone tagged hot writes back, it sets an alarm for two minutes from now called "Reply to Lena".
  • Ring when a deal moves. Priya asks her routine to watch for any deal moving to Closed won or Contract sent and ring her and her cofounder with a friends alarm, so they both see it at once.
  • Ring for one person's email. Sam is waiting on a term sheet from Jun. A routine looks for Jun's email and rings the moment it lands, even at 11pm.

How it rings: these are time alarms set for a moment just ahead, so they ring as real alarms on Android and iPhone, through silent mode and Focus on iPhone. If you would rather have another system ring you straight from a link, see How to make any app, script or feed ring your phone.

Try it

Add this as a custom routine in Town, with LFG Alarm and your calendar ticked:

try this

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Every weekday at 8:00, read my calendar for today. For each meeting with someone outside my company, use LFG Alarm to set a one-off time alarm 10 minutes before it starts, named after the meeting. Skip anything already past, then tell me which alarms you set.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. Your Townie reads the day, sets an alarm before each outside meeting and lists them, so you know the connection works.

More ideas: "List my LFG Alarm alarms", or "Make a friends alarm for Friday at 5pm called Ship it and add my friend [username]". Your Townie can also set price, post and event alarms, change or delete alarms, and pick a sound or look. See Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent for everything it can do.

If it does not work

  • Sign-in fails. Remove the server and add it again with the URL exactly as https://mcp.lfg.gm, then sign in with the account your phone uses.
  • The routine does not use LFG Alarm. Check that LFG Alarm is ticked under MCP Servers in that routine, and name LFG Alarm in the routine's instructions.
  • Still stuck? Write to us from the support page.

Disconnect

Remove LFG Alarm in Town's Settings > MCP. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing.

questions people ask
Does Town set the alarm on my phone or in my calendar?

On your phone. The alarm lives in your LFG Alarm account and rings through the LFG Alarm app, separate from your calendar.

Can it ring my whole team?

Yes. Ask for a friends alarm and name the LFG Alarm friends to add. Your Townie shows who it would add, and nothing is sent until you say yes. See [Friends and groups](/wiki/friends-and-groups).

Does LFG Alarm see my email or CRM?

No. Town reads those. LFG Alarm only receives what Town sends when it uses LFG Alarm's tools, such as an alarm's time and name.
