Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent

You can use LFG Alarm from your AI agent (or AI assistant), such as Claude, ChatGPT or Grok. Add the LFG Alarm connector once, sign in with your LFG Alarm account, and then ask in plain words: "wake me at 7 on weekdays", "make a Sunday run alarm and add my friends". Your AI agent makes the alarm in your account, and it rings on your phone through the LFG Alarm app, the social alarm clock for iPhone and Android.

Also called: LFG Alarm MCP · AI agent alarm · AI assistant alarm · Claude alarm · ChatGPT alarm · personal AI agent

Get it on Google PlayDownload on the App Store

Connect it once

  1. Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone and sign in. Alarms ring on the phone, so the app is needed.
  2. In your AI app, open the settings for connectors (each app has its own name for them: connectors, apps, plugins or MCP servers) and add a custom one with this address: https://mcp.lfg.gm
  3. When it asks, sign in at lfg.gm with your LFG Alarm account and tap Allow. There are no keys to copy.

There is a step-by-step page for each AI app, with the exact menus: see Connect LFG Alarm to your AI app.

What it can do today

  • Set a time alarm, one-off on a date or repeating on chosen days, with a name, a drawn wallpaper (your words and colours), a reach (private, friends or public) and the friends to add. A shared one can ring everyone at the same moment or each person at their own local time.
  • Set a price alarm: a target price or a percent move on a token. Your AI agent looks the token up first, so say the name or symbol ("SOL", "bitcoin").
  • Set a post alarm: an X account posting what you describe in your own words, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live or posting a video.
  • Set an event alarm from a Luma or Partiful link, rung at the start or 30 minutes, an hour or two hours before.
  • List your alarms, the ones you made and the ones you joined, with the time each one goes off next and its link.
  • List your friends, so it can add them by username.
  • Change an alarm: its name, wallpaper, reach, or the people on it.
  • Set an anything alarm: a private link any system can ring, such as a smart home, a shop's sale alert, Zapier or IFTTT. It can be private or for friends, never public.
  • Add your own picture, video, song or voice. Your AI agent gives you a one-time lfg.gm/upload link, uses a public link to a file, or, if it made the file itself, hands it over directly (up to about 20 MB). LFG Alarm never makes media through an AI agent.
  • Pick a sound or a look. It searches LFG Alarm's library of 500+ sounds by mood, energy or voice, and its drawn looks by vibe, then puts the one you like on the alarm. It can also list your own uploads and use one of those.
  • Delete an alarm.

It cannot cook a new song or write a creator's note; do those in the studio in the app. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app or on lfg.gm for now.

What you get back

Every time your AI agent makes or changes an alarm, it hands back what you need to share it:

  • The alarm's link, lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>. It opens the alarm on lfg.gm, and in the app for anyone who has it.
  • A share picture: the same card the app makes, with the alarm's look and a QR code to the link. Most chats show it straight away; where one does not, the picture's own link opens it to save and send.
  • A message ready to send, so you can say "text this to the group" or "email the link and the picture to my running friends" and your agent does it with the email or messaging it already has.

Friends you added by username or group get a notification in the app as well. A private alarm comes back with its link only, since it is just for you.

Adding people

Your AI agent can add your LFG Alarm friends by username, a whole friend group by its name, and anyone else by email, up to 20 people at a time. Friends get a notification; an email address with no LFG Alarm account gets an invitation. It never guesses who someone is: if a name is not one of your friends, it asks. Before anyone is added, it tells you who it would add, and nothing is sent until you say yes. See Friends and groups.

Good requests

Name the moment, how often, and who it is for:

try this

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Use LFG Alarm to set an alarm called "Sunday run" for 7:00 every Sunday, make it a friends alarm, and add my friends [username] and [username]. Then tell me who is on it.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. When, how often, who it is for and who to add, in one sentence, and the agent confirms it so you know it worked.

More that work today:

  • "Set a one-off alarm for 5:15am on Friday called Airport, with GO GO GO on the wallpaper in yellow on black."
  • "Make a friends alarm at 6:00 on weekdays that rings each person at their own 6:00, and add [email]."
  • "What alarms do I have tomorrow?"
  • "Rename my Gym alarm to Leg day."
questions people ask
Does LFG Alarm see my other chats or files?

No. LFG Alarm only receives what your AI agent sends when it uses LFG Alarm's tools.

Does it cost extra?

No. Connecting your AI agent costs nothing extra; it works with the same account and rules as the app.

Can it make songs or voiceovers?

No. It can pick one from the library, use one you uploaded, or take a file your AI app made itself; cooking a new one with Rocco happens in the app. GIF search is in the app too. See [Cooking with Rocco](/wiki/cooking-with-rocco).

Does the alarm ring in the chat?

No. It rings on your phone through the LFG Alarm app, like any alarm you made there.

How do I disconnect it?

Remove the LFG Alarm connector in your AI app's settings. Your alarms stay in your account and keep ringing.

Which AI apps work?

Any that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in. See [the list](/agents).
