Hand it to Rocco, LFG's agent. Tell him what you're waiting for in plain words: tickets go on sale, these shoes drop under $150, a page finally says delivered, any AI startup raises over $10M. He reads the web for you and rings your phone when it happens. That's a monitoring alarm. Share it, and every phone on it rings together, so your whole crew is in the queue before anyone else has heard.

How to make one
- Open Rocco in the app and say what you're waiting for. Paste a link if you have one: "ring me when this goes under $150 in size 32".
- No link? Just name the topic, and Rocco works out where to look.
- Rocco shows you a card with his plan: what he'll read, how often, and anything he can't cover.
- Choose who it's for under Make it social, then tap Arm it.
Rocco takes a first look straight away and tells you what he found. That first look only sets the starting point, so nothing rings yet.
You can also ask your AI app to make one. See Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent.
Rocco's three ways of reading the web
- A plain read loads a page or a news feed. It's on every account, and it's enough for most pages.
- Super crawling gets him into the exact page you care about, even a site a plain read can't reach, like one with a bot check or one that only works in a browser. It answers "what does this page say right now?"
- Web research goes wide. It looks across many places at once and brings back sources with links and short summaries. It answers "what's out there on this?"
The two together are the real power. Research finds what's happening anywhere, and crawling keeps a sharp eye on the one page that matters: "research the housing market in Austin, and keep checking this listing". You don't have to pick. Rocco chooses the right way for each thing he reads.
Super crawling and web research come with paid plans. See lfg.gm for what each plan includes.
Ask for a brief
A brief is a short write-up of what Rocco found, with the links. Pick the time and the days, like every morning at 7, and it lands in your daily drop with a notification. A brief never rings, so it's a nice quiet way to keep up with a topic.
Time alarms can bring one too. "Wake me at 8 with AI and crypto news" rings at 8 with the brief ready, and "research Lisbon before our trip on Saturday" gets you there prepared. On paid plans, Rocco runs web research for a brief once a day and again just before it rings.
Make it social
A monitoring alarm can be private, shared with friends, or public for anyone to join. Everyone who joined hears it together, so the whole crew finds out at the same moment.
- Add your own rule. On someone else's alarm you can add a rule of your own, like "ring me at $200 instead". It rings only you.
- Make a remix. Want it to watch something more? A remix is your own copy with the history so far, plus the pages you add.
- Pick your horn. Each person chooses what the moment does on their own phone: Horn on rings, Notify sends a plain notification, and Quiet leaves it in the daily drop.
Public alarms show up in Discover, so check there first. Someone may already be watching what you want.
Good to know
- Every account gets one monitoring alarm. Paid plans have Super monitoring: as many as your credits cover.
- Rocco reads every 3 hours on a free account, and as often as every 5 minutes on paid plans. YouTube and Twitch alarms don't count as your one, and neither do time alarms.
- Rocco can't reliably read Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or LinkedIn, because they hide most of a page from anyone not signed in. He'll tell you so and suggest what he can watch instead.
- For an X account, a token price, a wallet or an event, there's an alarm made for it: see post, price, trades and event alarms.
- On Android it rings full screen. On iPhone it arrives as a time-sensitive alert with the alarm's sound, so keep the ringer on.
- If a site goes down or changes, Rocco tries another way in and tells you if something is no longer covered.
- Switching the alarm off stops the monitoring for everyone on it.
Try it
Have your AI agent make it.
Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.
Use LFG Alarm to set a monitoring alarm that rings me when tickets for [event] go on sale, and send me a brief every morning at 8.
Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?
Why it works. One sentence gets you the ring when it happens and a short catch-up every day until then.
More ideas: "Ring me and my friends when this restaurant opens reservations for Friday", "Research the best deals on flights to Lisbon and ring me if one drops under $400", or "Tell me when this page says my visa is approved".
