Before you start
- Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Your AI agent makes the alarms; the app is what rings them.
- Have your LFG Alarm sign-in handy. You will sign in once, on lfg.gm, to let OpenClaw use your account.
Connect it
The quick way: ask it. If your OpenClaw can run commands, paste this into a chat with it:
Add the LFG Alarm MCP server: run openclaw mcp add lfg --url https://mcp.lfg.gm --transport streamable-http, then openclaw mcp login lfg, and send me the sign-in link.
Open the link, sign in on lfg.gm with your LFG Alarm account and tap Allow.
In the Control UI:
- Open Settings > MCP > Configured servers and click Add server.
- Choose Streamable HTTP, paste
https://mcp.lfg.gmand click Add server. - Back in Settings > MCP, click Sign in and sign in with your LFG Alarm account.
In a terminal:
openclaw mcp add lfg --url https://mcp.lfg.gm --transport streamable-http
openclaw mcp login lfg
openclaw mcp doctor lfg --probe
These steps follow OpenClaw's own docs as of October 2026. Asking OpenClaw to run the commands works when it is allowed to run commands on its machine; you always do the sign-in yourself.
Use it in a chat
Ask from any chat app your OpenClaw is in, the way you already message it. The alarm rings on your phone through the LFG Alarm app, not in the chat, so it gets you even when the chat is muted or the phone is on Do Not Disturb for messages.
This is where OpenClaw fits best: a voice note on the way home ("set an alarm for 5:45, I'm on the early shift"), or a group chat where your OpenClaw sorted out a plan and can now add the friends who said yes by their LFG Alarm usernames.
Try it
Once it is connected, text it in plain words:
Have your AI agent make it.
Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.
Use LFG Alarm to set a one-off alarm for 5:45 tomorrow called "Early shift", and write UP on the wallpaper. Then tell me when it goes off.
Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?
Why it works. The kind of thing you would text from the bus, and it tells you the time back so you know it is set before you put the phone away.
More ideas: "Make a friends alarm for Saturday at 9am called Golf and add my friends [username] and [username]", "What alarms do I have this week?", or "Delete the Early shift alarm". Today your AI agent can set time alarms, price alarms (a target price or a percent move), post alarms (an X account posting what you describe, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live), event alarms from a Luma or Partiful link, and anything alarms (a private link any system can ring); list, change and delete them; add your friends or a whole group; pick a sound or look from the library; and add your own picture, song or voice. Each alarm it makes comes back with its link, a share picture with a QR code and a message ready to send. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app for now. See Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent for everything it can do.
If it does not work
- It says it added it, but nothing works. Saving proves nothing: run
openclaw mcp doctor lfg --probe. - No Add MCP server option. Only an administrator of your OpenClaw can add servers.
- Changes do not show up. Run
openclaw mcp reloador restart the Gateway. - Still stuck? Remove the connector and add it again, or write to us from the support page.
Disconnect
Remove the LFG Alarm connector in OpenClaw's settings. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing.
