A to Z

The address of an alarm, lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>. Anyone allowed by the alarm's reach can open it and join. See Sharing and reach.

Anything alarm

An alarm set off by a web request to its private link: a script, a bot, Zapier, IFTTT or a phone shortcut. Also called a webhook alarm. See How to make any app, script or feed ring your phone.

A link the creator adds to an alarm in the studio. It opens when someone answers the ring: the stream, the event page, the chart. With no link, the alarm opens LFG Alarm to the morning stats. See The studio.

Chaos level

How hard Rocco roasts you when you snooze: mild, medium (the default) or feral. It is set once in Settings and applies to every alarm.

Connector

The word many AI apps use for an add-on that lets your AI agent use another service. The LFG Alarm connector lets your AI agent set alarms in your account. See Connect LFG Alarm to your AI app.

Cooldown

On an anything alarm, the time after a ring during which further calls are ignored: 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. It stops a bot in a loop from ringing you forever.

Creator's note

A message the person who made an alarm pins on it, such as where to meet or what to bring. It shows under the trigger and on the Daily drop, never on the ring screen, and can be edited at any time, even after the alarm is sealed.

Daily drop

The tab the app opens on: what rang, who got up, the wake boards and what is coming up in the next seven days.

Discover

The tab where public alarms appear, so people can find and ride them. See Discover.

Event alarm

An alarm made from a Luma or Partiful link, under Got a link?. It rings at the event's start or 30 minutes, an hour or two hours before. See Event alarms.

Floor

On a trades alarm, the smallest trade that rings you. A pasted wallet rings for buys or sells over $1k, $2k, $5k or $10k (default $5k). A FOMO trader's buys ring over $5k, $10k or $25k, and their sells always ring. A GMGN KOL rings over $100, $500 or $1k, because KOLs trade in small clips.

FOMO

A trading app whose traders publish their trades. A trades alarm can follow a FOMO trader by handle. LFG Alarm is not affiliated with FOMO.

Friends alarm

An alarm for people you choose. It has two ways in: Anyone with the link rides, or I approve each one, where people who open the link ask and you say yes or no, and people you add yourself skip the asking. Never shown in Discover. See Sharing and reach.

Group

Your own named list of friends, with an emoji, such as golf or the book club, made in Settings > Friends > Groups. Only you see it. Tap Create alarm with this group to make an alarm with everyone in it. See Friends and groups.

GMGN

A crypto trading site with a public tape of trades by well-known traders (KOLs). A trades alarm can follow a GMGN KOL. LFG Alarm is not affiliated with GMGN.

I'm up

The button you tap when an alarm rings (I'm up I'm up on Android; on iPhone it can carry a word that fits the alarm, like Let's go). It is how the wake board knows you got up, and it opens the alarm's call to action link if it has one.

Kept copy

A private copy of an alarm you were riding, kept with Keep my copy after its creator took it down. It is yours to change but can never be shared. Anything alarms cannot be kept.

KOL

Key opinion leader: a trader or personality whose trades many people follow.

Make it social

The switch at the end of making an alarm. Off, the alarm is private. On, it is for Friends or Public, and a time alarm also asks its time zone.

MCP

Model Context Protocol, the standard way AI agents and AI assistants connect to apps. The LFG Alarm MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and others make and manage time alarms for you. See Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent.

Mystery alarm

A friends alarm with Keep it a surprise on: riders see a curtain instead of its wallpaper and sound until it rings. Hide the trigger too? also keeps back when and why it rings.

Post alarm

An alarm that rings when an account on X posts something that means what you described, or when a Twitch or YouTube channel goes live or posts a video. Made with 👀 Social. See Post alarms.

Price alarm

An alarm that rings when a token reaches a price, or moves by a percent or a multiple. Made with 📈 Onchain. See Price alarms.

Private alarm

An alarm only you can see. Every new alarm starts private, with Make it social off.

Public alarm

An alarm anyone with the link can ride, shown in Discover.

Reach

Who an alarm is for: private, friends or public. It locks once the alarm is shared.

Ring here

The yes you give on a laptop at lfg.gm so your alarms ring in that browser tab as well as on your phone. See Alarms on your laptop.

Rider, riding

A rider is someone who joined an alarm they did not make, by tapping Wake me too. Riding is free. See Riding an alarm.

Rocco

The orange tabby cat inside LFG Alarm. He does the watching and the waking, cooks songs and voiceovers, and keeps score on the wake board.

Sealed

An alarm becomes sealed once a second person joins it: its time, trigger, title, sound and picture can no longer change. See Editing and deleting.

Smart money tape

The live strip of trades at the top of Discover, for finding traders and tokens worth watching. A Smart money card opens a plain price alarm; a FOMO or GMGN card offers a trades alarm on that trader or token.

Snooze

Putting off a ringing alarm for a few minutes: 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60, up to 3 times, 10 times or forever, with an optional Silent snooze. The creator's choice is where an alarm starts, but snooze is personal: each person can change it for their own phone, even on an alarm they ride. No alarm forbids snoozing; the wake board counts them.

Social alarm clock

An alarm clock built for more than one person: one alarm, shared by link, ringing every phone that joined. See What is a social alarm clock?.

Studio

Where you choose an alarm's name, wallpaper, sound, snooze, creator's note and call to action link. See The studio.

Time alarm

An alarm for a clock time, once or on chosen days. It rings from the phone itself, even with no signal. See Time alarms.

Time zone

The choice on a shared time alarm: Same time zone for everyone (one moment for all, the default) or Everyone's local time zone (each person at the same clock time on their own phone).

Trades alarm

An alarm that rings when a wallet you pasted, a FOMO trader, a GMGN KOL or a token sees a buy or sell over your floor. See Trades alarms.

Wake board

The scoreboard of a shared alarm: who got up first, who snoozed and who slept in. For an alarm that rings each person at their own local time, it stays open until everyone is up or 24 hours, and ranks people by how fast they got up after their own ring. See Wake board.

Wake me too

The button that joins an alarm from its link or from Discover.

Webhook

A web address that one program calls to tell another that something happened. In LFG Alarm, an anything alarm's link is a webhook. See Anything alarms.
