The wake board

The wake board is the scoreboard of a shared LFG Alarm alarm. After it rings, it shows who got up first, second and third, who snoozed first, who snoozed most and who slept in, ranked by how long each person took from the ring to tapping I'm up. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock where one shared link rings every phone that joined, and Rocco keeps the score.

What it shows

  • A podium: first, second and third up.
  • Your place, and medals such as First up, First to snooze, Snooze champ (snoozed the most) and Buys coffee (last one up).
  • Everyone up, in order, with the time each took: 0:03 means up three seconds after it rang.
  • Stats: how many woke up, how many snoozes, the average wake time.
  • Share the board as a picture, and Reactions to talk about it.

An example

Six flatmates ride a 7:00 weekday alarm. On Tuesday Mia taps I'm up after 0:04 and takes First up. Jay snoozes three times and gets Snooze champ. Ollie is up last, at 14:20, so he Buys coffee. Mia shares the board picture in the group chat before Ollie is out of bed.

Alarms in each person's own time

When a shared time alarm uses Everyone's local time zone, there is no single moment. Its board is a round that stays open until everyone is up, or 24 hours after the first ring, with a countdown in Daily drop ("Results in 14h"). Each person is still ranked by the time from their own ring, so someone in Tokyo and someone in London race fairly.

questions people ask
How does the board know I got up?

You tap **I'm up I'm up** on Android, or the answer button on iPhone, when it rings.

Who can see the board?

Everyone on the alarm.

Does snoozing count against me?

It is counted, not punished: the board shows who snoozed first and most, and Rocco roasts each snooze as hard as your chaos level says. See also [Accountability alarm app](/accountability-alarm-app) and [Group alarm for roommates](/group-alarm-for-roommates).
