LFG Alarm plugin for OpenClaw

To add the LFG Alarm plugin to OpenClaw, run openclaw plugins install clawhub:@lfg/lfg-alarm, add LFG Alarm with one command, and sign in once on lfg.gm. Then text your OpenClaw from WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage, and your phone rings like an alarm clock.

Also called: OpenClaw plugin · ClawHub plugin · OpenClaw alarm plugin · lfg alarm plugin

Get it on Google PlayDownload on the App Store

Before you start

  • Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Your AI agent makes the alarms; the app is what rings them.
  • Use a current OpenClaw. If you installed it a while ago, run openclaw update first.

Plugin or skill?

Both teach OpenClaw to use LFG Alarm, so you only need one.

What you get Best for
Plugin (this page) The LFG Alarm skill and its setup steps, installed from OpenClaw's plugin list Most people
Skill and connection on their own The same skill, or adding LFG Alarm from Settings without a plugin Setting it up by hand, or asking OpenClaw to do it

Neither one runs any LFG code on your machine. Either way, you connect your account in step 2.

Set it up

  1. Install the plugin:
openclaw plugins install clawhub:@lfg/lfg-alarm
  1. Add LFG Alarm:
openclaw mcp add lfg-alarm --url https://mcp.lfg.gm --transport streamable-http --auth oauth --connect-timeout 30 --timeout 30 --no-probe
  1. Sign in:
openclaw mcp login lfg-alarm

Open the link it prints, sign in with your LFG Alarm account and tap Allow. You don't need to copy anything back.

  1. Restart OpenClaw so it loads everything:
openclaw gateway restart

Give it a minute to load LFG Alarm's tools before your first message.

Try it

Text your OpenClaw, in plain words:

try this

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Use LFG Alarm to wake me at 7 tomorrow for my flight.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. A real alarm on your phone, set from a text.

The alarm rings on your phone through the LFG Alarm app, not as a chat message.

If it does not work

  • It can't find the plugin. Update OpenClaw with openclaw update, then try again.
  • The page won't load after you tap Allow. Your OpenClaw is out of date. Run openclaw update, then sign in again.
  • "Request timed out". The server was saved without its time limits. Run openclaw mcp unset lfg-alarm, then steps 2 and 3 again.
  • It says it has no LFG tools. Wait a minute after restarting and ask again. If it still can't find them, run openclaw mcp doctor lfg-alarm --probe to see why.
  • An alarm landed on the wrong account. If you connected the LFG Alarm app in ChatGPT too, OpenClaw may use that connection, which can be a different LFG account.
  • Still stuck? Write to us from the support page.

Have OpenClaw ask first

To have it check with you before it makes or changes an alarm:

openclaw mcp configure lfg-alarm --approval prompt

If nobody is there to answer, as with a scheduled job, the request is refused.

Disconnect

Run openclaw mcp unset lfg-alarm and openclaw plugins uninstall lfg-alarm, then remove OpenClaw under AI apps and keys in your LFG settings. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing.
