# Connect LFG Alarm to OpenClaw

AI agents · https://lfg.gm/agents/openclaw · Updated 2026-10-17

To connect LFG Alarm to OpenClaw, add it in **Settings** > **MCP** (or run `openclaw mcp add lfg --url https://mcp.lfg.gm --transport streamable-http`), then sign in with your LFG Alarm account. Then text your OpenClaw in WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage or wherever it lives, "wake me at 6:30 tomorrow", and the alarm rings on your phone through the LFG Alarm app, even if the chat is muted. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android.

## Before you start

- **Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone** from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Your AI agent makes the alarms; the app is what rings them.
- Have your LFG Alarm sign-in handy. You will sign in once, on lfg.gm, to let OpenClaw use your account.

## Connect it

**The quick way: ask it.** If your OpenClaw can run commands, paste this into a chat with it:

```text
Add the LFG Alarm MCP server: run openclaw mcp add lfg --url https://mcp.lfg.gm --transport streamable-http, then openclaw mcp login lfg, and send me the sign-in link.
```

Open the link, sign in on lfg.gm with your LFG Alarm account and tap **Allow**.

**In the Control UI:**

1. Open **Settings** > **MCP** > **Configured servers** and click **Add server**.
2. Choose **Streamable HTTP**, paste `https://mcp.lfg.gm` and click **Add server**.
3. Back in **Settings** > **MCP**, click **Sign in** and sign in with your LFG Alarm account.

**In a terminal:**

```bash
openclaw mcp add lfg --url https://mcp.lfg.gm --transport streamable-http
openclaw mcp login lfg
openclaw mcp doctor lfg --probe
```

These steps follow OpenClaw's own docs as of October 2026. Asking OpenClaw to run the commands works when it is allowed to run commands on its machine; you always do the sign-in yourself.

## Use it in a chat

Ask from any chat app your OpenClaw is in, the way you already message it. The alarm rings on your phone through the LFG Alarm app, not in the chat, so it gets you even when the chat is muted or the phone is on Do Not Disturb for messages.

This is where OpenClaw fits best: a voice note on the way home ("set an alarm for 5:45, I'm on the early shift"), or a group chat where your OpenClaw sorted out a plan and can now add the friends who said yes by their LFG Alarm usernames.

## Try it

Once it is connected, text it in plain words:

**Try this.** Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or another AI agent that has the LFG Alarm connector (https://mcp.lfg.gm), not into the LFG Alarm app. The person needs the LFG Alarm app on their phone.

> Use LFG Alarm to set a one-off alarm for 5:45 tomorrow called "Early shift", and write UP on the wallpaper. Then tell me when it goes off.

Why it works: The kind of thing you would text from the bus, and it tells you the time back so you know it is set before you put the phone away.

More ideas: "Make a friends alarm for Saturday at 9am called Golf and add my friends [username] and [username]", "What alarms do I have this week?", or "Delete the Early shift alarm". Today your AI agent can set time alarms, price alarms (a target price or a percent move), post alarms (an X account posting what you describe, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live), event alarms from a Luma or Partiful link, and anything alarms (a private link any system can ring); list, change and delete them; add your friends or a whole group; pick a sound or look from the library; and add your own picture, song or voice. Each alarm it makes comes back with its link, a share picture with a QR code and a message ready to send. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app for now. See [Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent](https://lfg.gm/wiki/ai-agents) for everything it can do.

## If it does not work

- **It says it added it, but nothing works.** Saving proves nothing: run `openclaw mcp doctor lfg --probe`.
- **No Add MCP server option.** Only an administrator of your OpenClaw can add servers.
- **Changes do not show up.** Run `openclaw mcp reload` or restart the Gateway.
- **Still stuck?** Remove the connector and add it again, or write to us from the [support page](https://lfg.gm/support).

## Disconnect

Remove the LFG Alarm connector in OpenClaw's settings. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing.

## Questions

### Why an alarm when OpenClaw can already message me?
A message in WhatsApp or Telegram is one more notification, and it is silent if the chat is muted. An LFG Alarm rings like an alarm clock, and it can ring your friends too.

### Can I set an alarm by voice note?
If your OpenClaw turns voice notes into text in your chat app, yes: it reads the time and sets a time alarm the same way.

### Can my OpenClaw add friends from a group chat?
It can add your LFG Alarm friends by username, and anyone else by email. It never guesses who someone is; if a name is not one of your friends, it asks.

### Is OpenClaw part of LFG Alarm?
No. OpenClaw is open source and separate. You run it; LFG Alarm only sees what it sends to LFG Alarm's tools.

### Does LFG Alarm see my other chats?
No. LFG Alarm only receives what OpenClaw sends when it uses LFG Alarm's tools.

## About LFG Alarm

LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone, iPad and Android. It rings for times and for moments (a post on X, a stream going live, a token price, a wallet buying, an event starting), and one shared link makes every phone that joined ring together. Rocco, the cat inside the app, does the watching and the waking.
