Connect LFG Alarm to Manus

To connect LFG Alarm to Manus, make a personal key in LFG Alarm under Settings > Connected AI apps, then in Manus add a custom MCP server with the address https://mcp.lfg.gm and the header Authorization: Bearer followed by your key. Then let Manus do the research, like this week's event times or a flight schedule, and ask it to set an LFG Alarm before each one, so your phone rings when it matters. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: alarms for times and moments, shared by link so every phone that joined rings together.

Also called: Manus MCP · Manus custom MCP · Manus connector

Get it on Google PlayDownload on the App Store

Before you start

  • Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Manus makes the alarms; the app is what rings them.
  • A personal key. Manus connects to custom servers with a key rather than a sign-in, so you make one in LFG Alarm first. It takes a minute, below.

A key acts as you. Anything Manus does with it lands in your LFG Alarm account and rings your phone. That is exactly what you want for your own Manus. Do not put the key in a Manus project or agent that other people can talk to, because they would be setting alarms on your phone.

Make a key

  1. In LFG Alarm, open Settings > Connected AI apps, on lfg.gm or in the app.
  2. Tap Make a key, name it "Manus", and tap Make the key.
  3. The key is shown once, with Copy and Done: "Copy it now. It won't be shown again." Tap Copy, keep it on your clipboard for the next step, then tap Done.
  4. It now shows in the list as Personal key, with when it was last used.

The screen says it plainly: "For an AI app that asks for a key instead of a sign-in, like Manus, a coding agent or your own script. A key acts as you, so keep it out of any agent other people use."

Keys start with lfg_pat_, work only at the LFG Alarm MCP server, and you can have up to 20. A key has the same plan limits as signing in.

Connect it

Manus has moved this menu more than once, so there are two routes. Use the one your Manus shows.

Custom MCP, direct configuration:

  1. In Manus, open Settings > Connectors and look for Add connectors, then the Custom MCP tab.
  2. Choose Add custom MCP server, then Direct configuration.
  3. Transport: HTTP. Server URL: https://mcp.lfg.gm (no /mcp on the end).
  4. Custom header: Authorization. Header value: Bearer lfg_pat_..., which is the word Bearer, a space, then your whole key.
  5. Save it.

Add MCP by URL: some versions put it under Connectors > Add MCP by URL (or Settings > Integrations > Custom MCP Servers > Add Server). Give it the name LFG Alarm, the server URL https://mcp.lfg.gm, and put the key in the authentication or header field as Bearer lfg_pat_.... If the field only takes a token and adds the word Bearer itself, paste the key on its own.

These steps follow Manus's own custom MCP page and the clearest published walkthrough; we have not been able to test every Manus plan. If a label is different, look for custom MCP or connectors in Manus's settings.

Use it in a task

Mention LFG Alarm in a task, or turn it on for a project you use for planning.

Manus is at its best on the long, fiddly part: reading a dozen pages to find when things actually start. LFG Alarm is the last step, the part that gets you out of bed. Some ways that fits together:

  • A conference week. Ask Manus to find the start times of the five talks you care about at a conference in another time zone, then set a one-off alarm 15 minutes before each, named after the talk.
  • Launch day. Ask it to find out when a product launch, a mint or an earnings call happens, then set a time alarm for that morning and add the friends who are watching with you.
  • Events with a link. If the events are on Luma or Partiful, Manus can set an event alarm straight from the link, rung at the start or 30 minutes, an hour or two hours before, so a change to the event time follows through.
  • Prices it finds. Researching a token? Ask for a price alarm at the level it lands on, a target price or a percent move.

Manus shows you the plan before it acts. When it adds friends, LFG Alarm tells it who would be added, and nothing is sent until you say yes.

Try it

Once it is connected, give Manus a task like this:

try this

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Find the start times of the next three rocket launches from Cape Canaveral and set an LFG Alarm 20 minutes before each one, named after the mission. Use my local time. Then list the alarms with when each goes off.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. Manus does the research, LFG Alarm sets one-off time alarms, and the list back lets you check every date before you close the task.

More ideas: "Set a one-off alarm for 5:00 on the morning of my flight on Friday called Airport", "Make a friends alarm for this Saturday at 9am called Golf and add my friends [username] and [username]", or "List my alarms". Through Manus, LFG Alarm can set time, price, post, event and anything alarms (an anything alarm is a private link any system can ring), pick a sound or a look from the library, and add your friends or a whole group once you confirm. Each alarm comes back with its link, a share picture with a QR code and a message ready to send. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app. See Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent for everything it can do.

If it does not work

  • Manus says it cannot connect, or lists no tools. Check the address is exactly https://mcp.lfg.gm, with no /mcp on the end, and that the header value starts with Bearer and a space.
  • It says the key is not valid. Keys are shown once. If you are not sure you copied all of it, tap Disconnect beside it in LFG Alarm and make a new one.
  • The list in LFG Alarm says the key was never used. Manus has not reached LFG Alarm yet; the problem is the URL or the header, not your account.
  • It refuses an alarm. A key has the same plan limits as signing in. For plans and pricing, go to lfg.gm.
  • Still stuck? Remove the server in Manus and add it again, or write to us from the support page.

Disconnect

In LFG Alarm, open Settings > Connected AI apps and tap Disconnect beside the key. It stops working at once. You can also remove the server in Manus. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing.

questions people ask
Why does Manus need a key and not a sign-in?

Manus connects to custom servers with a key or token it sends with every request. Claude and ChatGPT do a sign-in instead; for those, see [Claude](/agents/claude) and [ChatGPT](/agents/chatgpt).

Can I share my Manus project with the key in it?

Better not. A key acts as you, so anyone using that project would be setting alarms on your phone. Make the key for your own Manus only.

Can Manus set alarms for my friends?

It can add your LFG Alarm friends by username, a whole group by name, or anyone by email, after you confirm who. The alarm rings on their phones too.

Does the alarm ring if my phone is on silent?

Time and event alarms are real alarms on both iPhone and Android and ring through silent mode. Price, post and anything alarms ring full screen on Android; on iPhone they arrive as a time-sensitive alert with the alarm's own sound, so keep the ringer on.

Does LFG Alarm see my other Manus tasks?

No. LFG Alarm only receives what Manus sends when it uses LFG Alarm's tools.
