How to ring everyone coming to your Eventbrite event

You sold 300 tickets, and Eventbrite's reminder went out two days ago. It's sitting in 300 inboxes under a pile of receipts, and a chunk of your crowd has already forgotten it's tonight.

Now picture every ticket holder's phone ringing two hours before doors, like an alarm clock, with the venue and the entrance right there. That's what you can add to any Eventbrite event in a couple of minutes. Paste your link into LFG Alarm, share the alarm's link with your attendees, and everyone who joins gets rung. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android.

What Eventbrite already does

Eventbrite's help pages say:

  • In-person events get an automatic reminder email 48 hours before.
  • Online events get three: 48 hours, 2 hours and 10 minutes before.
  • You can edit those emails or schedule your own under Emails to attendees.

Those are good emails. The trouble is that they're emails. An alarm is the thing people can't scroll past.

How to do it

  1. Copy your Eventbrite event's link.
  2. In LFG Alarm, tap Got a link? and paste it. Rocco reads the name, the picture and the start time.
  3. Under Goes off, pick At start, 30 min, 1 hr or 2 hr.
  4. Choose who it's for. Public suits most ticketed events, and Create alarm gives you a link to share.
  5. In Eventbrite, open Emails to attendees and add the alarm's link to your reminder: "Tap to get an alarm on your phone before we start."

Rocco reads most Eventbrite pages, but not every one. If he can't find the start time, set a time alarm for the same moment. It rings just as loud.

Going with friends? Put it in the group chat

You don't have to be the organizer. Bought tickets with five friends? Make the alarm from the event's link, drop it in the group chat, and every phone rings when it's time to leave. Add a note with where you're meeting first, and nobody has to send "are you guys on the way?" ever again.

Three events on Eventbrite

The free workshop. Free tickets are the easiest to forget. Sam adds the alarm link to the confirmation message, and it rings an hour before, with parking details in the note.

The online summit. Guests are in nine countries. The alarm rings At start, the same moment for everyone, and the button opens the stream.

The sold-out concert night. Tasha's team has a separate friends alarm for staff that rings three hours before doors, while the crowd's alarm rings at two.

Let your AI set it up

try this

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Use LFG Alarm to set an event alarm from [your Eventbrite link] that rings 1 hour before it starts, and give me its link and a line I can add to my attendee email.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. One request makes the alarm and writes the line for your email. Connect LFG Alarm to your AI app first: see [AI agents](/agents).

Common mistakes

  • Ringing at the same time as an email. Pick a moment that does a different job, like when people should leave home.
  • Scheduling the email too late. Only people registered when an Eventbrite email goes out get it, and once it's queued you can't change it.
  • Skipping the note. The entrance, the parking and the dress code belong there.

questions people ask
Do attendees have to install anything?

Yes. Anyone who wants the ring taps the link and joins in the LFG Alarm app. Everyone else still gets your emails as usual.

Can it ring everyone who bought a ticket automatically?

No. LFG Alarm doesn't connect to your ticket list. People choose to join, so the number who joined is a good guess at who's really coming.

How does it ring?

It's a real alarm. On iPhone it rings through silent mode and Focus, and on Android it takes over the screen, even when the phone is locked.
