LFG Alarm vs DEX Screener

DEX Screener and LFG Alarm both let you set price alerts on crypto tokens, including new tokens on decentralised exchanges. DEX Screener is a free, real-time chart and screener app whose listing promises "unlimited price alerts". LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android that rings like an alarm when a token reaches your price, moves by a percent or hits a multiple, and also when a wallet or trader you follow makes a big trade; your friends can be rung at the same time. We make LFG Alarm; this is a fair comparison as of October 2026.

Where DEX Screener is stronger

  • Charts and screening. DEX Screener is built around real-time DEX token charts and a screener. LFG Alarm has no charts at all.
  • Lots of alerts, free. Its listing promises "unlimited price alerts" at no cost.
  • Highly rated apps. 4.9 from 5.4K ratings on the App Store and 1M+ downloads on Google Play, as of 16 October 2026.
  • Discovery. It is built for finding tokens, not just watching ones you already know.

Where LFG Alarm is different

  • It rings. On Android it rings as a full-screen alarm, even on Do Not Disturb. On iPhone it arrives as a time-sensitive alert with the alarm's own sound, which can come through Focus but respects the silent switch; keep the ringer on. In DEX Screener's listing we found no mention of alerts that ring through silent mode or keep ringing until answered.
  • Moves, not just prices. Tap 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 100x or 1000x, or a drop of -5%, -10%, -20%, -50%, or nuke (-99%). A multiple or percent is measured from the live price when you arm it. Or type a specific price, which rings when the token goes above it.
  • Wallets and traders. Beyond prices, LFG Alarm rings when a pasted wallet trades over $1k, $2k, $5k or $10k, when a FOMO trader buys over $5k, $10k or $25k or sells, or when a GMGN KOL trades over $100, $500 or $1k.
  • Friends on the same alarm. Share a token alarm and everyone is rung at once, or make it public so a community can follow one link.
  • No exchange login, no wallet connection, nothing to sign, no trading in the app.

Finding a token, then sleeping on it

DEX Screener is where many people first see a token: a new pair trending on Solana, a chart that just went vertical. LFG Alarm comes in once you have decided the token matters to you.

Leo spots a new Solana pair on DEX Screener at $300k market cap and buys a small bag. He has two questions for the night: will it do a 3x, and will it collapse? He sets a few DEX Screener alerts for the levels he likes to glance at during the day. For the two moves that should wake him, he opens LFG Alarm, pastes the contract, and arms a 3x and a -50%, both measured from the live price at that moment. He shares the 3x alarm with the friend who told him about the token.

At 05:20 the -50% alarm rings. He opens DEX Screener on his phone, sees liquidity has been pulled, and is glad he heard at 05:20 rather than 09:00. Most nights, nothing rings at all.

Which one should you get?

  • DEX Screener if you want to chart and discover tokens, and a long list of free price alerts.
  • LFG Alarm if one or two price moves matter enough to wake you, or your friends, or you also want to know when a wallet or trader moves.

Many people find the token on DEX Screener and set the one alarm that matters in LFG Alarm. See A crypto price alarm that actually wakes you and how price alarms work.

Make it in the app

  1. Copy the token's contract address from DEX Screener.
  2. In LFG Alarm, on Alarms, tap 📈 Onchain (on lfg.gm, Create, then Onchain), paste it under Search and tap Find it. If several coins share a name, pick the right one by its address.
  3. Under The move, tap a multiple or a drop, or type a specific price (it rings when the token goes above it).
  4. Choose who it is for and tap Arm it.

Your AI agent can set a price alarm too: name the token and the price or the percent move.
