LFG Alarm vs AgentAlarm: real alarms from your AI agent

AgentAlarm and LFG Alarm both turn what your AI agent decides into a real alarm on your phone. AgentAlarm is a small iPhone app with a command-line tool: your agent runs a command on your computer, and your iPhone rings. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock with its own MCP server: your AI app sets the alarm directly, it can ring friends too, and Rocco, LFG's agent, can watch the web for the moment itself. We make LFG Alarm, and this comparison is meant to be fair.

Where AgentAlarm is better

  • Privacy of the alarm text. AgentAlarm says the alarm's words are end-to-end encrypted; its relay only sees which phone to wake.
  • A clear history. It shows which alarms rang, arrived quietly or were missed, and why.
  • Focus-aware. An optional Focus filter turns alarms into quiet notifications during Sleep, Work or Driving.

Where LFG Alarm is better

  • Waking more than one person. One alarm, one link, and every phone that joined rings at the same moment: your partner before the 3pm pickup, flatmates on the same 7:00, a whole group before a party.
  • Moments without a set time. Rocco, LFG's agent, watches the web and rings you when an account posts, a stream goes live, a token hits your number, or your own script calls the alarm's link.
  • Every phone and the browser. iPhone, Android and the web, so a shared alarm works whatever phone your people have.
  • The same agents, more ways in. OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Cursor each have a setup page, plus Claude and ChatGPT on your phone. See AI agents.
  • One line from any script. An Anything alarm's private link rings with a single curl request, so any agent that can run a command can ring it, with nothing to install.
  • No computer left running. LFG Alarm's server holds the alarm, so it rings even when your laptop is closed.

Which one should you get?

  • Choose AgentAlarm if you run a command-line agent on a computer that is always on, want only your own iPhone to ring, and want the alarm text end-to-end encrypted.
  • Choose LFG Alarm if you set alarms from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app, want friends or family on the same alarm, use Android, or want Rocco to watch for the moment instead of guessing a time.
try this

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Use LFG Alarm to set an alarm for 7:30am tomorrow called "Flight check-in opens" and add my partner [their LFG Alarm username] so it rings us both.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. One sentence from your AI app sets the alarm and the second phone; no computer has to stay on.
