# LFG Alarm vs AgentAlarm: real alarms from your AI agent

AgentAlarm and LFG Alarm both turn what your AI agent decides into a real alarm on your phone. AgentAlarm is a small iPhone app with a command-line tool: your agent runs a command on your computer, and your iPhone rings. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock with its own MCP server: your AI app sets the alarm directly, it can ring friends too, and Rocco, LFG's agent, can watch the web for the moment itself. ## Where AgentAlarm is better

- **Privacy of the alarm text.** AgentAlarm says the alarm's words are end-to-end encrypted; its relay only sees which phone to wake.
- **A clear history.** It shows which alarms rang, arrived quietly or were missed, and why.
- **Focus-aware.** An optional Focus filter turns alarms into quiet notifications during Sleep, Work or Driving.

## Where LFG Alarm is better

- **Waking more than one person.** One alarm, one link, and every phone that joined rings at the same moment: your partner before the 3pm pickup, flatmates on the same 7:00, a whole group before a party.
- **Moments without a set time.** Rocco, LFG's agent, watches the web and rings you when an account posts, a stream goes live, a token hits your number, or your own script calls the alarm's link.

## Which one should you get?

- Choose **AgentAlarm** if you run a command-line agent on a computer that is always on, want only your own iPhone to ring, and want the alarm text end-to-end encrypted.
- Choose **LFG Alarm** if you set alarms from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app, want friends or family on the same alarm, use Android, or want Rocco to watch for the moment instead of guessing a time.

### Is AgentAlarm on the App Store?
When we checked on 24 October 2026, its website said it was coming soon to the App Store.

### Can AgentAlarm ring my friends' phones?
Not that we could find: its site describes your own iPhones only. In LFG Alarm, one link rings every phone that joined.

### Can LFG Alarm be rung from a script like AgentAlarm?
