Why KOL tracking is a timing problem
A KOL's buy matters most in the first few minutes. Their followers see it, the token moves, and the people who were watching get in or out before the people who were not. So most KOL tracking is really about one question: how fast do you find out, and does it reach you when you are not looking?
Two situations come up again and again:
- You hold what a KOL holds. You followed a GMGN KOL into a Solana token at $400k market cap. The question all week is whether they are still in. A sell from them is the moment you care about.
- You want their next pick, but only the serious ones. KOLs trade in small clips: a $150 test buy is noise, a $1k buy from someone who usually buys $200 is not. You need a size filter that fits how they trade.
The tools below split into finding KOLs (directories, labels, leaderboards) and hearing from them (alerts). Most people need one of each.
At a glance
| Tool | Best for | Follow by | How it reaches you |

| Kolscan | Browsing KOLs, PnL and leaderboards, free | Browse, or search an address | We found no description of alerts |
| GMGN | KOL labels, memecoin trading, copy trading | Address on gmgn.ai | Telegram bots, app |
| FOMO | Seeing what friends and top traders buy | A FOMO username | App push |
| Nansen | Smart Money labels and flows | Address | Telegram, Discord, Slack, webhook; a mobile app |
| Arkham | Labelled entities and transfer alerts | Address or entity | Email, Telegram, webhook |
| Lookonchain | A curated smart money and whale feed | Lookonchain picks | Its app and posts on X |

KOL trackers
Kolscan dominated our searches for a crypto KOL tracker. It has a live trade feed, PnL and leaderboards, says "all Kolscan features are free", and has been owned by Pump.fun since 10 July 2025.
GMGN labels KOL and smart money wallets and lets you follow up to 100 wallets on its site, with alerts through Telegram bots. As of 16 October 2026, its Android app shows 4.0 from about 1.6K reviews.
FOMO is a social trading app where you see what friends and top traders buy, with leaderboards. You follow people by their FOMO username. As of 16 October 2026 it has 4.8 from about 25K ratings on the App Store.
Smart money trackers
Nansen is the name most searches for a smart money tracker turn up. Its Smart Alerts cover tracked addresses, Smart Money token flow thresholds and Hyperliquid positions, and an AI agent can build them from a prompt.
Arkham labels wallets with real-world entities and can alert you on an exchange or fund as a whole.
Lookonchain posts free smart money and whale research on X and has an iOS app with its curated feed.
Where the others are stronger
- Discovery: Kolscan's leaderboards, GMGN's labels and Nansen's Smart Money label help you find who to follow. LFG Alarm assumes you already know.
- Research: Nansen and Arkham tell you who is behind a wallet and where money flows.
- Acting fast: GMGN and FOMO let you trade in the app. LFG Alarm does not trade.
- Long lists: GMGN and Nansen follow many wallets.
Where LFG Alarm is different
- KOLs by handle. Type a GMGN KOL's handle and pick over $100, $500 or $1k (default $500). Type a FOMO trader's handle for buys over $5k, $10k or $25k, every sell, and an optional thesis. Or tap Show me the top traders to browse the top 100 on FOMO this week and the KOLs trading now on GMGN.
- It rings. On Android it rings as a full-screen alarm, even on Do Not Disturb. On iPhone it arrives as a time-sensitive alert with the alarm's own sound, which can come through Focus but respects the silent switch; keep the ringer on.
- Any wallet too. Paste one on Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB, Arbitrum or Robinhood Chain and pick $1k, $2k, $5k or $10k.
- Calm after a ring. A trades alarm stays quiet for 15 minutes after it rings.
- Friends and communities. Share a trader alarm with friends and everyone is rung at once, or make it public so a community can ride one link. We found no other tool that follows a named trader over a floor and shares the alarm with friends.
- No wallet connection, nothing to sign, no trading in the app.
Which one should you get?
- To find KOLs: Kolscan or GMGN.
- To follow traders where you trade: FOMO or GMGN.
- For smart money research: Nansen or Arkham.
- To be woken, with your friends, when the few traders you care about make a big move: LFG Alarm. See how trades alarms work.
A KOL alarm, start to finish
Kai follows a GMGN KOL who usually buys in $100 to $300 clips. He only wants the bigger moves, so in LFG Alarm he types the KOL's handle, picks Buys and Sells, and sets the floor to $1k. On Thursday night the KOL buys $1.4k of a new token. Kai's phone rings at 23:10. He opens the token on a chart, checks how much of the supply the top wallets hold, reads the KOL's posts, and decides the risk is not for him. The next week the same KOL sells a token Kai also holds, and that one he acts on.
Make a KOL or trader alarm in the app
- On Alarms, tap 📈 Onchain. On lfg.gm, tap Create, then Onchain.
- Type the trader's @handle (a FOMO trader is found first, then a GMGN KOL), or tap Show me the top traders.
- Check the card, pick Buys, Sells or, for a FOMO trader, Thesis, and the floor.
- Choose who it is for: just you, friends, or public. Tap That's it.
Trader alarms from an AI agent are coming; for now, make them in the app or on lfg.gm.
