How to get your community to show up live

Announcements get muted, so a Space, AMA or launch for a server of thousands can end up with a few dozen people live. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: you make one public alarm for the minute you start and post its link. Every member who joins gets a real alarm on their phone at that moment, in their own time zone, and Rocco keeps a wake board of who showed up. This page has templates to post and a turnout widget for your own numbers.

templates

Copy it. Post it. Done.

Swap in your link once your alarm is made. Times are in UTC so everyone can do their own maths, or let their phone do it.

Space

Space at 15:00 UTC with a guest you'll want to hear. Tap the link and your phone rings when we go live: lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>. Free, one tap.

Launch

The post goes up at 14:00 UTC. Want a ring when it does? Ride the alarm: lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>. Rocco keeps score of who's up first.

AMA

AMA in our Discord, Thursday 18:00 UTC. Drop your questions in the comments on the alarm and ride it so you are there for the answers: lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>

Community call

Weekly call, every Tuesday 17:00 UTC. Same link every week, and your phone rings at the start: lfg.gm/a/<alarm-code>

turnout maths

Your last call, in seats.

Last time: 100 in the room. Your guess with an alarm: 300.

An illustration with your numbers. One seat is 1% of your server.
how it works

Make it

A public alarm for the minute you start.

Post it

One link, in Discord, Telegram, X, wherever your people are.

Everyone rings

Every phone that joined, in the same second, in every time zone. A time alarm is a real alarm on iPhone and Android. Riding is free.

Rocco keeps score

Who joined. Who was up first. Who slept in.

Every shared alarm has a wake board. Post it after the call. Your community will.

Have your AI agent make it.

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or any AI agent that can add a connector, not into the LFG Alarm app. The setup steps come with it: get the LFG Alarm app, connect it to your agent once, and your agent makes the alarm in your account.

Use LFG Alarm to make a public alarm for our X Space on Thursday at 15:00 UTC, called Community call, ringing everyone at the same moment. Give me the link and a short post I can share in Discord and Telegram.

Already have the LFG Alarm app and connected it to your AI agent?

Why it works. A public alarm is one anyone can ride, so one link works in every channel. Asking for the post too saves you writing it. Add the Hype man voice and your creator's note in the app.

common mistakes
  • Pinging @everyone for every call. Members mute the server. An alarm only rings the people who asked for it.
  • Posting the time without a time zone. Use UTC in the post; the alarm rings at the right moment in every country.
  • Making a new link every week for a regular call. Keep one alarm for a recurring call and repost the same link.
questions people ask
What is LFG Alarm?

A social alarm clock for iPhone and Android. Share an alarm by link and every phone that joins rings in the same second.

Do my members have to pay?

No. Riding an alarm is free.

Do they need the app?

To have their phone rung, yes: LFG Alarm on iPhone or Android. The link opens it.

Does it post anything to X or Discord?

No. It rings phones. It never posts for anyone.

What about time zones?

A shared alarm rings everyone at the same moment by default, and each member sees it in their own time. For a daily club where everyone wakes at their own 6:00 AM, pick Everyone’s local time zone when you make it.

Can I see who showed up?

Yes. Rocco keeps a wake board of who joined and who got up first.

Can members ask questions before an AMA?

Yes. Public alarms have comments and hearts, so members can drop questions while the alarm waits and talk about it after. Your creator’s note can say where the call is, and a link on the alarm opens the Space or Discord stage when people answer.
