# How to get your community to show up live Communities ยท https://lfg.gm/community-rally-kit Announcements get muted, so a Space, AMA or launch for a server of thousands can end up with a few dozen people live. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: you make one public alarm for the minute you start and post its link. Every member who joins gets a real alarm on their phone at that moment, in their own time zone, and Rocco keeps a wake board of who showed up. Times are in UTC so everyone can do their own maths, or let their phone do it. ## Your turnout, in seats The page has a widget for your own numbers: members in your server, the share who showed up live last time, and your guess for how many would show if the people who said "I'm in" got rung. It draws the room as a hundred seats, one per 1% of your server. No turnout figure on the page is ours; it only shows what you put in. ## How it works Make a public alarm for the minute you start, post the one link wherever your people are, and every phone that joined rings in the same second, in every time zone. A time alarm is a real alarm on iPhone and Android. Riding is free. ## Rocco keeps score Every shared alarm has a wake board of who joined, who was up first and who slept in. Post it after the call. Give me the link and a short post I can share in Discord and Telegram. Why it works: Anyone can join a public alarm, so one link works in every channel. Asking for the post too saves you writing it. Add the Hype man voice and your creator's note in the app. ## Common mistakes - Pinging @everyone for every call. Members mute the server. An alarm only rings the people who asked for it. - Posting the time without a time zone. Use UTC in the post; the alarm rings at the right moment in every country. - Making a new link every week for a regular call. Keep one alarm for a recurring call and repost the same link. ## Questions ### What is LFG Alarm? A social alarm clock for iPhone and Android.
