# Connect LFG Alarm to Perplexity AI agents · https://lfg.gm/agents/perplexity · Updated 2026-10-17 Perplexity's help pages describe custom remote connectors for paid plans, but when we checked a Perplexity account in October 2026 there was no option to add one, so LFG Alarm may not be addable there yet. If your Perplexity shows **+ Custom connector**, the steps are below; if not, use LFG Alarm from [Claude](https://lfg.gm/agents/claude), [ChatGPT](https://lfg.gm/agents/chatgpt) or [another AI app](https://lfg.gm/agents). LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: alarms for times and moments, shared by link so every phone that joined rings together. ## Before you start - **Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone** from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Your AI agent makes the alarms; the app is what rings them. - Have your LFG Alarm sign-in handy. You will sign in once, on lfg.gm, to let Perplexity use your account. ## Connect it 1. On perplexity.ai or in the Perplexity desktop app, open your **Account settings** and go to **Connectors**. (Newer versions call this **Plugins**, with an **Add custom** button.) 2. Click **+ Custom connector** and choose **Remote**. 3. Fill in **Name**: `LFG Alarm`, and **MCP server URL**: `https://mcp.lfg.gm`. Set **Authentication** to **OAuth**. Leave **Advanced** alone. 4. Click **Add**, then click the new LFG Alarm card and sign in on lfg.gm with your LFG Alarm account. Tap **Allow**. These steps follow Perplexity's own help pages. The Perplexity account we checked in October 2026 had no custom connector option at all; if yours does not either, Perplexity cannot add LFG Alarm yet. ## Use it in a chat In a thread, click **+**, then tick LFG Alarm under **Connectors and sources**, and ask. Perplexity is where people look things up, so the useful asks start from a fact it found: the time a match kicks off, when a store opens, when a launch was announced for. Ask Perplexity to find the time, then to set the alarm for it in your zone. ## Try it Once it is connected, ask in plain words: **Try this.** Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or another AI agent that has the LFG Alarm connector (https://mcp.lfg.gm), not into the LFG Alarm app. The person needs the LFG Alarm app on their phone. > Find when the next Champions League final kicks off, then use LFG Alarm to set a one-off alarm 30 minutes before it, in my time zone, called "Kickoff". Then tell me when it goes off. Why it works: Perplexity looks the time up first, and its answer shows whether it got your time zone right. More ideas: "Wake me at 7:00 every weekday and call it Get up", "Make a friends alarm for Saturday at 9am called Golf and add my friends [username] and [username]", or "List my alarms". Today your AI agent can set time alarms, price alarms (a target price or a percent move), post alarms (an X account posting what you describe, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live), event alarms from a Luma or Partiful link, and anything alarms (a private link any system can ring); list, change and delete them; add your friends or a whole group; pick a sound or look from the library; and add your own picture, song or voice. Each alarm it makes comes back with its link, a share picture with a QR code and a message ready to send. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app for now. Some accounts do not have the option at all yet. - **Sign-in does not stick.** Remove the connector and add it again. - **Still stuck?** Remove the connector and add it again, or write to us from the [support page](https://lfg.gm/support). ## Disconnect Remove the LFG Alarm connector in Perplexity's settings. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing. ## Questions ### Can I use LFG Alarm from Perplexity today? Only if your account shows **+ Custom connector**. If not, use [Claude](https://lfg.gm/agents/claude), [ChatGPT](https://lfg.gm/agents/chatgpt) or [another AI app](https://lfg.gm/agents) for now. ### Does it work in the Perplexity phone app? Add it on the web or desktop. Perplexity's phone apps may only show its built-in connectors. ### Can it set an alarm for a time it looked up? Yes. Ask it to find the time first, then to set the alarm, and check that the time it tells you back is in your time zone. ### Does LFG Alarm see my other chats?
