# Connect LFG Alarm to Gemini AI agents · https://lfg.gm/agents/gemini · Updated 2026-10-17 To connect LFG Alarm to Gemini, add it as a custom app: on gemini.google.com open **Settings** > **Connected Apps**, click **Add a custom app**, paste `https://mcp.lfg.gm` and sign in with your LFG Alarm account. Custom apps are tied to your Google account, so it works on personal Google accounts (not work or school ones), and then follows that account to the Gemini phone app. Ask Gemini to set alarms and they ring on your phone. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: alarms for times and moments, shared by link so every phone that joined rings together. ## Before you start - **Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone** from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Your AI agent makes the alarms; the app is what rings them. - Have your LFG Alarm sign-in handy. You will sign in once, on lfg.gm, to let Gemini use your account. ## Connect it 1. On a computer, go to [gemini.google.com](https://gemini.google.com). Custom apps are added on the web; once added they work in the Gemini phone app too. 2. Click **Settings**, then **Connected Apps**. If you do not see it, click **Personal Intelligence**, then **Connected Apps**. 3. Under **Custom apps**, click **Add a custom app**. A window called **Connect to an MCP server** opens. 4. In **MCP Server URL**, paste: `https://mcp.lfg.gm`. Leave **Additional settings** (Client ID and Client secret) empty; LFG Alarm does not need them. 5. Click **Next**. Menus move; if a label is different, look for where Gemini lets you add a custom MCP server or connector. ## Use it in a chat In any chat, type `@` and pick LFG Alarm, then ask. Gemini asks you to confirm before it makes or changes an alarm. If you already ask Gemini about your day, LFG Alarm is the part that wakes you for it. Ask for an alarm before the first thing on tomorrow's plan, or a repeating one for the school run. Gemini makes it with your LFG Alarm account, not your Google one, and the alarm rings through the LFG Alarm app, not Google Clock. ## Try it Once it is connected, ask in plain words: **Try this.** Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or another AI agent that has the LFG Alarm connector (https://mcp.lfg.gm), not into the LFG Alarm app. The person needs the LFG Alarm app on their phone. > Use LFG Alarm to set a one-off alarm for 6:15 tomorrow called "School run", and a repeating one for 7:30 on Monday to Friday called "Out the door". Then tell me when each one goes off. Why it works: A one-off and a repeating alarm, each with a name, and Gemini tells you when both go off. More ideas: "Wake me at 7:00 every weekday and call it Get up", "Make a friends alarm for Saturday at 9am called Golf and add my friends [username] and [username]", or "List my alarms". Today your AI agent can set time alarms, price alarms (a target price or a percent move), post alarms (an X account posting what you describe, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live), event alarms from a Luma or Partiful link, and anything alarms (a private link any system can ring); list, change and delete them; add your friends or a whole group; pick a sound or look from the library; and add your own picture, song or voice. Each alarm it makes comes back with its link, a share picture with a QR code and a message ready to send. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app for now. Some Google pages tie it to the Google AI Pro or Ultra plans. - **It stopped working.** Check Keep Activity is still on; custom apps stop when it is off. - **Still stuck?** Remove the connector and add it again, or write to us from the [support page](https://lfg.gm/support). ## Disconnect Remove the LFG Alarm connector in Gemini's settings. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing. ## Questions ### Which Google accounts can add it? Google says custom apps need a personal Google account, age 18 or over, the US, English, and Keep Activity on. Work and school accounts cannot add them. ### Does it work on my phone? Yes, once you have added it on the web. It follows your Google account to the Gemini app on Android and iPhone. ### Does it use my Google sign-in for LFG Alarm? No. You sign in to LFG Alarm separately, on lfg.gm, and Gemini uses that account. Your LFG Alarm account can itself use Google sign-in. ### Does it replace Google Clock? No. Google Clock alarms stay as they are. LFG Alarm alarms ring through the LFG Alarm app, and can ring your friends too. ### Does LFG Alarm see my other chats?
