# Connect LFG Alarm to Claude

AI agents · https://lfg.gm/agents/claude · Updated 2026-10-17

To connect LFG Alarm to Claude, add a custom connector with the address `https://mcp.lfg.gm`, choose to sign in now, and sign in with your LFG Alarm account. Then, in the middle of planning a trip or a week in Claude, ask it to set the alarms too, and they ring on your phone. LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone and Android: alarms for times and moments, shared by link so every phone that joined rings together.

## Before you start

- **Get the LFG Alarm app on your phone** from Google Play or the App Store, and sign in. Your AI agent makes the alarms; the app is what rings them.
- Have your LFG Alarm sign-in handy. You will sign in once, on lfg.gm, to let Claude use your account.

## Connect it

1. On [claude.ai](https://claude.ai) or in the Claude desktop app, open **Settings** > **Connectors**. (Some versions put it under **Customize** > **Connectors**.)
2. Click **Add custom connector** (or **+ Add**, then **Add custom connector**).
3. In the **Name** box type `LFG Alarm`, and in **MCP server URL** paste: `https://mcp.lfg.gm`. Click **Continue**.

4. Under **Authentication**, choose **Sign in now**. For the OAuth client, choose **Register automatically**.
5. Click **Add**, then **Connect**. A window opens on lfg.gm: sign in with your LFG Alarm account and tap **Allow**.

We have tested this one end to end: Claude finds the sign-in on its own and LFG Alarm's tools show up straight after. Menus move; if a label is different, look for custom connectors in Claude's settings.

## Claude Code

In a terminal:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user lfg-alarm https://mcp.lfg.gm
```

Then run `/mcp` in Claude Code and sign in with your LFG Alarm account. If you already added LFG Alarm on claude.ai and sign in to Claude Code with the same account, it is there already.

## Use it in a chat

In a chat, click **+**, then **Connectors**, and make sure LFG Alarm is on. Then ask. Claude shows each action before it runs it, so you see the time and the people before anything is made.

It works best where you already plan with Claude. Paste a flight confirmation and ask for an alarm three hours before take-off. Ask Claude to draft a week of training and set the 6:00am runs as one repeating alarm. In a Project you use for a club or a trip, keep LFG Alarm on and ask Claude to add the friends who are coming.

## Try it

Once it is connected, ask in plain words:

**Try this.** Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or another AI agent that has the LFG Alarm connector (https://mcp.lfg.gm), not into the LFG Alarm app. The person needs the LFG Alarm app on their phone.

> Use LFG Alarm to wake me at 7:00 every weekday, call it "Get up", and write GET UP on the wallpaper. Then tell me when it goes off next.

Why it works: A time, a repeat, a name and a wallpaper, and Claude tells you what it set, so you know the connection works.

More ideas: "My flight leaves Friday at 10:40 from Gatwick. Set a one-off alarm for 6:30 that morning called Airport", "Make a friends alarm for Saturday at 9am called Golf and add my friends [username] and [username]", or "List my alarms". Today your AI agent can set time alarms, price alarms (a target price or a percent move), post alarms (an X account posting what you describe, or a Twitch or YouTube channel going live), event alarms from a Luma or Partiful link, and anything alarms (a private link any system can ring); list, change and delete them; add your friends or a whole group; pick a sound or look from the library; and add your own picture, song or voice. Each alarm it makes comes back with its link, a share picture with a QR code and a message ready to send. Wallet and trader alarms are made in the app for now. See [Using LFG Alarm from your AI agent](https://lfg.gm/wiki/ai-agents) for everything it can do.

## If it does not work

- **Connecting fails.** Check that you chose **Register automatically**, not Claude's published identity.
- **You cannot add a connector.** On Claude's Free plan you can have one custom connector; remove another to add LFG Alarm. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it for everyone and you click **Connect**.
- **Still stuck?** Remove the connector and add it again, or write to us from the [support page](https://lfg.gm/support).

## Disconnect

Remove the LFG Alarm connector in Claude's settings. Your alarms stay in your LFG Alarm account and keep ringing.

## Questions

### Does it work in the Claude phone app?
Yes. Add it on the web or desktop and it follows your account to the phone apps, so you can ask for an alarm from your phone and it rings on the same phone.

### Can Claude Code set alarms while it works?
Yes. With LFG Alarm added in Claude Code, ask it to set a one-off alarm for when a long job should be done, and your phone rings even if you walked away from the laptop.

### Can Claude set an alarm from a document I paste?
Yes, for times. Paste an itinerary or a schedule and ask for alarms at the times in it; Claude reads the times and sets time alarms. Event alarms from a Luma or Partiful link are made in the app for now.

### Does LFG Alarm see my other chats?
No. LFG Alarm only receives what Claude sends when it uses LFG Alarm's tools.

## About LFG Alarm

LFG Alarm is a social alarm clock for iPhone, iPad and Android. It rings for times and for moments (a post on X, a stream going live, a token price, a wallet buying, an event starting), and one shared link makes every phone that joined ring together. Rocco, the cat inside the app, does the watching and the waking.
